I was inspired to paint this artwork by the childhood memory of frosty mornings when we used to go mushroom hunting.
I combine the textures, patterns and colours found on the icy road early morning with imagery of pine trees, mist and snow sprinkles on soft mosses observed in the Forest of Dzukija.
The result is a painting that evokes the feeling of the places and natural objects found there.
